Discover Merzouga is more than a travel company—it's the story of a Berber family whose roots run deep in the Sahara Desert.

For generations, our family lived a traditional nomadic life among the golden dunes of Merzouga. We were born in the desert, where life followed the rhythm of nature instead of the clock.

Unlike modern life, we never stayed in one place for long. Our family would move whenever necessary, sometimes two or three times in a single month, searching for fresh grazing land for our animals and clean water for our people. Every journey was guided by the land, the weather, and generations of knowledge passed down from our ancestors.

Growing up in this environment taught us lessons that cannot be learned from books.

As tourism grew in Merzouga, we realized that travelers wanted more than a place to sleep—they wanted to experience the real Sahara.

That inspired us to create Discover Merzouga.

Our mission is to offer authentic experiences that connect visitors with the true spirit of the desert through local culture, Berber hospitality, traditional food, music, storytelling, and unforgettable adventures.
